Nursing Home Nurse Aide Certification

Nurses need a certification to work in a nursing home. This certificate comes from the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH).

• be listed in good standing on the State Nurse Aide Registry;
• complete an approved training program; and
• pass an exam.
